actually bro, the gospels was written by the witnesses who was with Christ during his ministry here on earth... Some of the chosen disciples were former scribes... that were you got your first 4 books of the new testament... the other books were written by the apostles themselves or by designated scribes that were with the apostles when they were doing the great commission... those books were then compiled by scholars, placed into order according to time it was written....

usually bro, ang difference ra jud ana kay ang focus sa church teachings... for example... the pentecostals focus on the Holy Spirit, baptists focus on the mandates that was given by Jesus, protestants (cosidered to be were all the sects came from since this was the first group that originated the Catholic church) kay daghan pud ug division, there's the evangelical (more on the works and spreading of the gospel), Lutheran (the old school), orthodox and many more... but actually, kung imo ni siya tan-awon sa bigger picture, they actually are almost the same... that's why there are some inter-church worships going on...
