both... bati man pud nang death penalty diretso... depende ra sa kabug-aton sa kaso... kanang mga rapist og bata patyon na... kanang mga kurakot na opisyal patyon na!

Depending on the gravity of the crime and unless we're absolutely certain that the crime was and committed by the person that was tried and convicted, I'd go for Death Penalty. For heinous crimes like massacre/terrorism for example, I don't think life imprisonment would be enough to give justice to the dead or the bereaved.

There are people who are really determined to kill or violate the law for the wrong reasons -- and sometimes we need some form of deterrence to keep them from doing terrible crimes. Of course, capital punishment is not always the silver bullet to high profile killings/violence BUT it can also be an important means to prevent them from happening.

uyon ko but! not lethal injection. IMHO, either of these three unta: firing squad, electric chair or garote. lethal injection is humane kunohay. humane ba gud ng patyon man ghapon? this method, murag d cguro kaau maka strike ug fear into these criminals ky b4 na cla taga-an sa lethal dose, tagaan pa nag anaesthetic agent to minimize physical distress, then muscle relaxant and finally, potassium chloride. kataw-an nis mga criminal ing-ani na style.

in deed death penalty is an easy way out. i would rather have a physical punishment than totally killing the person. If nangawat, putlon iya kamut after dili cya mutagam. nangrape cya, putlon iyaha pero himua ug agianan sa ihi. kung nakapatay cya, putlan usa kamut ug usa ka tiil. sumting inga ana ba. im sure criminals will dread that compared to death. that's just my analysis....heheheh...
