Lighting for planted tank

according to a friend the philips daylight bulb has a bluish shade.. compared to the firefly bulb has a little yellowish shade...
I think according to pmip 150w iya kai 24" deep man tingali iya tank....
pmip, whats your view?

unsa d i size sa imo marine aquarium nga nay 150w MH bulb? isa lang 150w imo gamit bro?

mga how many degrees kaha na iya ma lower?

the higher the kelvin rating the bluer the light will be... ex: 4000k lights emits yellowish light then 10k emits white light then 20k bluish white light na. naa ta coralife 10k T5's available sa piper's petshop... we also have resun 10k available...

sir just to give you an idea lng pod ako temp is from 31-33 pod same as miss svmx's temp.

fan helps lowering temp sa 1-3deg maximum? well thats based on my exp.

maybe wonder ka y naa fan sa akong light hood yet init kau kay ako gamit sa fan kay pa circulate man sa water. hehe

if 50 gals imu tank i think 4-5pcs 36watts will suffice na but again, it all depends on what kinds of plants your gonna have

bitaw, PL are good in terms of high wattage and coverage, MH is better but cost a lot more. CFLs are ok but you need a lot on bigger tanks and tends to increase temp..

sa akoa lang, usa ra akong fan, 220V nga fan, tag 160petot.hehe it lowers the temp about 2-3 degrees.

mmm... mao lagi to ako huna2 either glosso or hc carpet.. then the rest no idea pa kai wa ko idea unsa mga kinaiya sa plants..... hihihi
looking for low maintenance plants but not the very expensive ones... tapulan kayo ko mo trim gud.... hehe
by the way, how's your immerse tank doing?

di mangud na masulod sa ako 3ft aquarium ang 36wats, mao na nagproblema ko.. if 18w pud murag apeke pud gitas-un.
