Unsa na gud ni! Kita man tanan tingali ganahan CCNA Certification ug ECE License. Kinsa man nilang duha imong pasakyon sa imo sakayan. Kay kong sila duha imo pasakyon, tulo na mo, malunod mo, patay gihapon mo tanan. So, ang usa nila imo gyud i-sacrifice. Murag ingon ani ang analogy ba.

hallo mga amigo... sa tinood lang dili na kaayo important ang CCNA, no need na... CISCO is only product or brand, naa pud AVAYA, SMB, SENAO, HARRIS, NERA, SEIMENS, Tranzeo og daghan pa na need to ceritifide that project.

Para sa akoa if you need more general knowledge in IT or Telecom just go on ECE. with license og ang imo name naa pa gyud naka butang Engineer sa tinood lang layo ra ang CCNA or CCDA na certificate.... you can apply also in abroad with the course of ECE upgrade lang ka sa technology og dali lang ka maka sabot kai naa naman ka knowledge o background about Electronics and Communication Engineer. pero ang CISCO more on lang ka sa IT.

hmmm ECE gyud ang maayo pero dugay lang kai 5 years og mo board pa gyud ka para mahimo ka og tawagon na Engineer. pero ang CCNA, CCDA, AVAYA certifide, Tranzeo, SMB, or certifide product, IT knowledge ra kutob....

I prefer CCNA or other IT related certificates for the following reasons:

    1. It's recognized worldwide (specially good for me or anyone else planning to get out of the country).
    2. You don't have to be a graduate of anything to take and pass these exams.
    3. These certifications should get you higher pay.
    4. More and more local companies (companies from first world countries have been there a long time ago) are recognizing these certificates and are already starting to require these instead of being graduates or passers of our local PRC license exams.
    5. Akong maguwang ECE license holder na, wala gihapon trabaho sa iyang field. Kuha nalang siya ug internationally accredited monterssory teaching certificate, nakatrabaho pa tawn siya and mas promising pa iyang career abroad.
    6. Lastly, murag dako raman intawn kaayo nga field and Electronics oiz... samot ang Communications... Unya sa atong nindot nga nasod ug nindot nga educational system, gisagol man hino-on ang duha! pero karon bag-o kay kung wala naman siguro ECE kay kung makapasar daw ka sa board kay EE naman lang siguro imong license. Blame it on our "wholistic and balance (kunohay) nga approach to education"... and please don't forget that most of our school systems are made for us to get good grades at school, not good work..."

ECE is a bachelor degree while CCNA is only a vocational course. For obvious reason, i prefer ECE.

    I would rather have both.

Getting an ECE license is a requirement under the Philippine law to approve electronic and electronic communication designs, teach ECE professional subjects, implementation of projects, etc. However, the license would only work within the Philippine vicinity. Outside of it, it's useless. Alternatively, there are foreign engineering organizations who approves or makes recognition of the license but if and only if your engineering field conforms with their own. And this would take time.

I'll also would get Cisco trainings for a career advantage in the job market. This would assure me that I'll be on top of the list. Moreover, Cisco certifications are applicable to whichever country. Foreign companies won't have doubts with regards to your computer networking skills and knowledge.
