sata controller device usage

mangutana lang unta ko bay regarding aning akong laptop after i installed windows xp pro. ang iyang sata controller bah sa may device usage wla man ko makita. it should be "use this device (enable)". unsay problema ani mga bay? sige na gyud nako tan aw google bah so far no luck gyud wla p agyud ko kakita ug tubag. magpatabang unta ko kay labad na kaayo ulo.kutaw kutaw na pag isolate.

so far ok man ang laptop, working fine pero inig check nako sa hp optimization naa sila nakita fault sa sata "serial device". tabang pls.

tanawa sa imo bios bay kung enabled ba ang SATA ..

xp pro doesn't have a SATA driver

only Vista has a SATA driver...

I guess it depends on the hardware bro, and its manufacturer, there are drivers for SATA and supplied not may be by microsoft but by vendors of such devices. It is just a matter of searching.

Maybe what you mean is that there is no integrated driver for SATA in XP Pro, its true, but you can download it. Vista has a driver for SATA integrated on it but not all SATA device drivers...Just my 2 cents...
