these are 110 film cameras that use these film cartridges...

it was convenient and easy to load the film but it didn't last long as the
negatives were small and therefore provided low quality enlargements.

That would be the 126 format cameras...
and here's the 126 film cartridge...
and if I remember it right it took square pictures though the film is similar to the 35mm of today
another camera that used film cartridges I had in my collection was the kodak disc camera...
disc cartridge...
and the developed negative...
