FYI: fineupgrades isnt me, he's our Sales executive
IMHO, Pcquick is a DIY (Do it yourself) shop. And like most shops, they may be cheaper sa uban and they maybe more expensive sa others. The choice on where to buy relies on the consumer. Buy where you feel comfortable. None of these shops are perfect. If you think you know better than the guys working at these shops thats because you have the luxury of better education and more resources to educate you. Unfortunately the well informed techs people are working for big corporations or call centers because im sure the salary of Computer retail shops aren't that good.
I also do hope they will improve as they will see that improving/educating their sales staff will really help attract more buyers. We are also aiding some of these shops and scheduling training sessions to help them more. It will take time but we are hoping for the best outcome.
In the meantime, have an informed purchase:
1.) Research about what you are planning to buy on the internet or ask the experts here sa istorya.
2.) Canvass well (walk around, call the shops by phone, inquire about prices and stock availability, ask about warranty and services like assembly if you want them to do it for you)
3.) Buy where you feel convenient and comfortable (If you dont know much about PCs make sure to buy from a shop that can assist you, and not where you feel dili sila kabaw)
Sometimes its not about the price, its about availability of the items, and the convenience of location and this is where I think PCquickbuys has an advantage for others.
