PSU has to stabilize its voltages first before sending the PWR-Good signal to the motherboard, and mobos are designed for manual turn-on by user. so if mobo turns on by itself momentarily when u plug the power cable, something is wrong either with the PSU or the switching circuit of the mobo.

generic ra nuon akong PSU, tried another one but generic gihapon... same thing happens... but when i i tried the same generic PSU's on an asus mobo, wala may surge.... i think it's the intel boards... don't know if tanan ba intel inani... my board is D865GBF... i've heard inani sad kuno ang D865PERL...
