i don't really do the whole set and written up diet thing because i feel it restricts me. but i know how much and what i need, and when i need it.

i will generally eat a oatmeals, lotsa eggs (yolk included) brown rice, wheat bread, tuna, corned beef, peanuts, or something with a similar amount of carbs/protein/good fats in my meals. my natural protein largely comes from eggs.

    i love raw eggs too!

very hard for me to write all this things down-- i just do it... just the way i run things.

The Abs Diet is a nutritional diet created by Men's Health Magazine editor David Zinczenko. It is designed to be implemented as a life-style change.

The diet emphasizes the so-called Twelve Power Foods. The diet recommends six small meals spread throughout the day. Each major meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner) should contain at least three of the Power Foods. The snacks should contain at least one "Power Food".
That is correct.. you could lose by eating 5-6 times a day.. because it will boost up your metabolic rate... that is one of the key elements for fat loss..

yeah.. 2 years after.. you'll learn the consequences.. our body is too smart for that..

forgetting a meal will cause a break down of your metabolic rate.. you'll know on the later part... try to bring your metabolic rate back if you are doing this... or you'll have a harder time in the future..

even.. if counting your calories.. you'll still be fat.. if you don't know what you are eating... you'll lose weight.. not just fat.. you'll also lose muscle if you were eating the wrong food.
include this check the nutrition facts of what you are eating..
Then again, choose nutrition dense foods over calorie dense foods..

I agree, there are just some things that are counter productive to our efforts to lose weight. Missing a meal is definitly a big one. During the time when mankind were still nomads , (man had not yet discovered agriculture) and hence was moving from place to place. In order to survive this harsh life, our forefathers bodies (and due to evolution our bodies as well) would conserve energy in our mitochondria and release this when energy is needed.
Now that there is a relative abundance of food when we don't eat within 4 hours from the last meal our bodies automatically goes on starvation mode and "conserves" the next meal for "future" use in the form of "stored" energy i.e. fat.
To aid us in our "diets" we need to have healthy snacks on hand to nibble on every 3 hours. Excellent choices are nuts (except for peanuts), peaches, apples, oranges, banana, half a tuna sandwich on wheat bread.
