"I do not believe in believing. My approach is to know, and knowing is a totally different dimension. It starts from doubt, it does not start from believing. The moment you believe in something, you have stopped inquiring. Belief is one of the most poisonous things to destroy human intelligence. All the religions are based on belief; only science is based on doubt. And I would like the religious inquiry also to be scientific, based on doubt, so that we need not believe but we can come to know someday the truth of our being, and the truth of the whole universe." -Osho (The Book of Understanding)

Forester, sir, don't get me wrong but the salvation I'm talking about is personal. I may be a catholic but my faith is unshakable - there may be some here that are explicitly vocal about their religion/belief/faith but that's up to them. And I agree that these religions read the same bible but I don't hold the bible as a tool for immorality, self-righteousness, misgivings, and preaching against other beliefs but one purpose, my salvation. I hope I made myself clear. Thanks btw. All is well sir.

12 At that time Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord gave the Amorites over to the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel,

    “Sun, stand still at Gibeon,
and moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.”
13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stopped,
until the nation took vengeance on their enemies.

    Joshua 10:12-13

Was God ignorant of what science taught that it is not the SUN that revolves around the planets?
This is a verse [although theologians made their extreme efforts to distort this story] showing the views of the ancient time that the sun is revolving around the earth; and during those time, any dissenting opinion [like Copernicus, Galileo, etc] may be considered as treason [for defying the extablished authority of the Church].

and what do we have here?

It's funny how one can easily spot the judgment passed unto him and failed to understand that the very thing he abhors is the very thing he is doing.

    and

is it wrong to say that one feels sad that an atheist have no god and that if he has one it will be a zillion better than those who have their GOD now?

what assumptions are made there? it was an opinion of an expressed feeling that is very subjective to the person feeling it. why be so condemning?
