Best laptop for Personal use. Can you recommend?

MacBook Pro

The MacBook Pro is very very nice... well thought design. Very portable, great OS, although mahal lang sab. Ang Dell 1530 sab.. price starts at $1k but a well equipped one would go up to $2k+ ..

my laptops lenovo 3000 n100 (wifeys) and dell xps m1730. would recommend dell over teh lenovo though. hardware support is aweeessooommeee

that's a very nice system.. The xps1730 is sweet.. Mao unta akong kuhaon pero dako ra gyud kaayo nya baga. Pero sus is nindot ana.

Just `cause it's new doesn't mean that you'd recommend it to someone - unless you've tried the item first-hand. `Cause how could you recommend something that you don't know much about?

Recommend na nako bro kay dha man ko nag work. Syempre dili ko mo recommend if wala ko kasuway.
Mahala lang pero if kaafford siya dili jud siya magmahay. Dili na HD iya gamit, SSD na which is the latest technology on storage devices. Paspas jud kaayo pero buslot sad imo bulsa sa price. But who knows, maybe the thread starter can afford such expensive notebook.

Touche` although compact notebooks like this and the Apple Air are fairly limited and doesn't really cater to what most notebook users need. Hinuon, maayo nga LENOVO (IBM) integrated the optical drive and other extras that APPLE didn't do or try with their AIR. Pero with only a 1.2ghz processor (dual core) and an on-board video card - it's just not practical - unless you have money to throw around. Kay you can get a much better system at less than half the price if you're wiling to sacrifice a fraction of an inch difference in dimension (ehem.. Dell XPS M1330). Just like Apple's Macbook Air... it's not for everyone.
