Hm. Overlooked 1 detail. My plans may have been foiled by the
absence of DVI-D/DVI-A connectors of the said PHILIPS 37PFL7422 37" Full HD 2MP. The only connectors are the standard D-SUB 15 pin VGA (which I doubt would support 1080p/1080i signals), and Component analog video (YPbPr)/Component analog video/VGA (RGB/HV), s-video, all of which, save 2 HDMI inputs, are analog in nature.
That being said... I intend to use ASUS EN8800GT/G/HTDP/512M/A Geforce 8800 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card Retail

... and, you guessed it, no HDMI, only Component analog video (YPbPr)/Component analog video/VGA (RGB/HV) ...which are analog.
Board has no HDMI either. Palit, Zotac and Galaxy are out of the question, since I'm building an all ASUS setup for showcase. Well, almost an all ASUS setup anyways, no Vento casing here.
I hope someone can address this concern: Will D-SUB 15 pin carry the 1080p/1080i signal? I've tried the D-SUB 15 pin on the 22" Samsung 226BW LCD Monitor, and it was able to display 1920x10
50, not so sure if this combination can. Thanks in advance!
