It's hard to ignore a person pestering you if he's got his feet on your toes. Let every Cebuano voluntarily decide if Tagalog is beneficial to him or not. In a level playing field, bickerings like that is just trivial. In effect, it would be like the French making fun of the English and vice versa. One soon gets tired of it.
