How TO Connect N95 3G to your Laptop for Internet Access...

I need help on this one or any advice from the istoryans expert... I read this in on the topic here but they dont have the details on how to? connect and what service they use like smart or globe... and they said like 10 pesos for 30min? which is a good deal and how fast is the connection?..

though i'm not an expert i'll try anyway, depende na ug bluetooth ready ba imong laptop kung wa palit ka dongle. then just follow the installation wizard sa dongle ug sa pc suite, naka try ko 2g phone noon to a bit slow jud noon, ingon cla mas pas2 daw kung 3g phone, try lang.

Connection via bluetooth to the internet will become slow.
3G/HSDPA speed is faster than bluetooth connection and the bottleneck is there. Unless your bt dongle and phone supports bt specs version is or greater than 2.0+EDR it will be ok.

Better use a data cable (the usb type) and use nokia datasuite. Just click one button to connect to the intenet and much faster.

even using the usb cable, it cant help much, still the speed is not comparable to typical dsl, you know it. sad to say.

smart even interviewed me in minutes through phone about the speed and service. i told them honestly that their internet service through cellphone is good only for plain light surfing.

thanks for the input guys ... i have dsl connection too..just incase i will be in a remote area where i have a 3G available i still have internet access and still be able surf the net... would be awesome!

i remember when i was in pandanon island. i had fair signal from my provider and the 3G figure is visible on screen but when i tried its internet access, it failed.

yea not all places has 3G access i agree!
