If people didn't get Vern's remark, here is an attempt to explain what it means--its a simple "this is what you guys actually want" phrase--he's trying to tell everyone who posted in defense of controlling youtube, that they're behaving as if they own the web, that they don't want "their" internet messed up, which is of course, very possessive and in my own opinion, a bit immature. It's like getting rid of stray dogs or street urchins in front of the fence in your house, because the owner feels he "owns" the street right outside his house.
