watching one Filipino movie is the same as watching another one shown before...

the main gist of the story are just typically the same... although they add a feww little twist every now and then, if you look at it closely, the storyline of the movies are just basically the same...

Still, there are some movies that wecan be proud of (Mano Po, Ina, Dapitan, Muro Ami, etc.) Pero, if you look at action and comedy movies, pare-pareha lang talaga ang story...

This topic should be titled "The State of Tagalog Movies".They are trying to influence our taste on what a good movie is. They are shoving their movie sensibilities down our thoat, which does not reflect on all Filipinos.

I agree. IMHO, the Dep. Ed is very blunt for n0t realizing the futility of putting in (Tagalog) Filipino subjects... we ought to have Cebuano subjects instead so we can be more acquainted with our native dialect.
