It's most probably the power supply. Something similar happened to a rig of my frind.
My frend had this specs:
AMD Duron 1.3ghz
512mb DDR
128 Radeon 9250
ASUS A7N266-VM Mobo
2x Combo Drives
2x Hard drives (40gb W.D. + 320gb Seagate)
Generic 300W PSU
The 320gb was newly bought, and he asked me to add it. When I added it with all the jumpers on both HDDs configured correctly, windows would boot, but a a few minutes before the logon screen would appear it would inexplicably completely shutdown. I did turn on the rig three more times and the same thing happens.
I then went ahed and replaced his "Generic" 300W PSU with some surplus Enermax Dual Fan 430W PSU (forgot what model it was), and it worked fine. NO more shutdowns. I'm guessing that the strain was too much for the "Generic" PSU.
This could also be what's happening to your P.C. with its 3 HDD's and one optical drive.
Hope that helps.![]()
change the power supply coz it doesnt give exact wattage on the total load of your system, pariha rana cya og tubig nga naa sulod sa balde nga kung ang imo balde gamay tapos ang tubig daghan na kaayo moawas jud.
Dili makaya sa 300W power supply ang to much load nga 3 hard drives, + pa sa imo mobo og optical drive.
So go change your power supply.
Some old mother board will not support new harddisk
i had a problem like this before ang cable orientation (some cables supports cable select) and jumper settings. mu-post ba siya if daghan HDD? madetect tanan sa bios? if yes i doubt na power supply na kay usually if dili enough ang power di na siya mu show up sa bios or even POST properly.
bro, try ug ilis ug power supply. kuwang rana ang 300w. ^_^
Power supply. 300w is just not enough...
buy ATX 550 watts
