Not familiar w/ linux platform pero i have tried dualbooting my xp and ubuntu. So far okey ra man ang ubuntu,sayon ra iinstall and os pero diha na ko nagproblema pag-install sa drivers,hehe! kinahanglan pa man gud i-DL unya lisud pu ang mga commands..Basta naay time,nindot ni cya tun-an.. :mrgreen:
Dali ra man ang nVidia Driver i - install. Adto lang sa System>Settings>Restricted Drivers. Follow lang ang instructions.Originally Posted by emman

Huh? Libog ko ani dah. you don't sudo on synaptic. Ang sudo itype na nimo sa gnome terminal. Ug mogamit ka ug sudo, di na kinahanglang mogamit ka ug synaptic. Ang synaptic package manager-gamiton ni siya pag install ug mga apps, drivers ug uban pang software using a graphical user interface. Ang sudo command na sa gnome terminal that will give you super-user power meaning bisa'g dili ka logged on as root, makainstall ka ug software and change settings as if you were a root user. try nako ang ako ubuntu sa daan nako na laptop - pentium 3 mura jud nabanhaw kay sa xp pwerte kahinay! havent tried wine wanted to insall MS office kay wa koy reklamo sa mga apps sa linux, very stable pa jud and very customizable murag di lang jud ko impressed sa openoffice lau ra jud sa MS office, human heavy user man ko ug advanced excel (macro and all that stuff), havent explored kung kaya pud bana sa open office. but other than that I play dvd, mp3, e-books and pictures and it rocks!!!
