what ISP provider are you talking about?
Globe, PLDT or SmartBro
Globe broadband
Yes the driver is installed properly.
what connection type they have put-up in your computer?Originally Posted by iamgood

if using usb, be sure that the router/modems driver are correctly installed. i think globe tech guyz knows already about that.
if utp cable, no intallation required but your lancard should detect the modem/router. to know that, you should have an
IP set from the router like 192.168.1.3 and etc. depending on the ip range.
it might be your LANcard is defective.
i will request them to bring both USB and UTP modem.
check which is working.
thanks for giving me an idea bro...
ping is useful only if your network settings is already set-up correctly.
To check ethernet use "ARP":
arp -a
ARP is included in windows and linux installations.
basin duha ka lan imo gamet bro. 1 is built in and 1 is lan card. just try to detached 1 lan and let the ISP personnel do the internet connection. mo matter sad ang na ka static nga lan configuration. then if naa na ka internet connection. e taud ug balik ang usa ka lan then e assign lang balik ang static IP.
