Had encountered this problem when me and my GF played DOTA 6.43 AI+... Just updated my video drivers and it did the work. You could also try running the game in opengl.

Question, the DOTA map you're talking about, is it the DOTA 6.43b AI+? Cuz if it is, there's a bug in that map that causes Warcraft III to crash or sometimes your PC...

bay, same ra jud ta ug specs, ug same sad ta ug problem. Built in video card pud ka? mmm. radeon ati 1200?Here is the solution to my problem. right click my computer. click properties. go to advanced. under visual effects click custom for best performance. then under "advanced" adjust virtual memory. adjust it minimum 1.5m. (custom size).. then try restarting. no need to reinstall your warcraft my friend. mm try pud download optimizer sa amd 64 dual core sa amd nga website. use the google. It worked for me my fren. kung dili effective.. i suggest you upgrade your memory or videocard.
