If the current Windows version you have right now is a Retail copy, then technically yes. You can install it on the new PC as long as you delete it from the old PC.

If however you have an OEM copy, then the answer is NO. You cannot transfer an OEM license to another PC. It is practically married to the original PC you activated it on. You disobey this rule and Bill Gates will be knocking at your door and will kick your nuts.

    wahahahah.. unya ang win95?

i-update na lang imong OS after installing para stable ang pc nimo...

why others cant still accept xp still better than vista?

vista- needs more ram and high processor (dual core minimum)
    - not all software can be run in vista
    - virus and spyware.... very easy for it coz of still so many "holes"

I agree with vern, and lets say even if it is better than vista, your still going to buy vista in the future. No use resisting the dark side of the force.

If I recall, people said the same thing when XP came out..

-XP needs more memory. I can't believe my 64MB of RAM is not enough
-OMG XP CPU requirements is insane. I can't believe my Pentium II 200Mhz won't cut it.
-XP's Fisher Price interface is too slow, old grey Windows 98 interface works better
-My software dont work with XP no more
-XP doesn't support my 8yr old printer
-XP is too buggy with lots of holes.
-XP brings nothing new to OS market

    So yeah go figure.
