Mao sad na dakong problema sa atong kalidad as FILIPINO WORKERS @ TAGA IPIL ....

SUPERIOR COMPLEX .... who cares if walay diploma ang supervisor ? You dont need a DIPLOMA to be good in TIME MANAGEMENT , SUPERVISORY ATTITUDE , TEAMWORK and most of all LEADERSHIP .

ANyways dili ni siya mo apply lang sa CALL CENTERS but to every sector that existed within the Philippine archipelago when we talk about WORK and EMPLOYMENT .

you may be right but I', referring to TECHNICAL SKILLS.. not those skills that you get from the MANUALS of client you're outsourcing...
I've been in call center industry, and I know how it works... just a Plain Customer Service even if your from TSR or CSR..
all you need is a Manual and a good communication skills..

I remember when my teammates who is a Licensed Engineer being transferred to SALES department...

but anyway.. its better to have a decent job than to be like bystander...
we'll just pray the our countries will not suffered as what happened in Call Centers in India...

its painful and aggravating but its the reality in our country today and for the coming years to come. when filipinos learn to value family planning much for sure young labors will tricle down and from there filipino skills will be competitive in terms of salaries. y do companies do that here in the Phils is because we have surplus professional and skilled manpowers and you cant make a change for now because you have no value. it cannot save hunger for our fellow brothers who are in dire need of money for their families to feed and siblings to support. in other words we are in other countries debt that they invest here in the Phils coz if not all of you in a call center would probably end up in the middle east or typing and proofreading in Innodata.we only have very few companies that can cater to thousands of new college grads every year.

Yes, i'm agreable to that but its painful that its not the reality in the ground. diploma's rule in this country! even you are in a supervisory level but undergrad you still par below standard salary versus yourcounterpart diploma holder buddy.

Which is reality bites indeed ! When speaking abou EMPLOYMENT , mamugas na man gani mga TOPNOTCHER how much more kadtong PE ra ang gipasaran pag college right ?

Anyways , I just feel bad considering the MARKET VALUE of FILIPINOS as SKILLED WORKERS in the TECHNICAL FIELD , yes in the MEDICAL FIELD ... naa tay ikabuga . We are indeed EXPLOITED because the westerners knew how FIlipinos communicate / being fast learners and requires less supervisory attention , its just that there is no value in that " ASSET " we have or it was appraised at below standards .

In the US , GRAD or UNDERGRAD has the same chances of acquiring that desired position . Both will be hired and both will be placed in TRAINING LEVEL status . Experience counts more because unsaon man nimo pag function considering the knowledge you have as a DEGREE HOLDER are from the books but was never applied ? Though EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT is really nice to have but reality check .... reserve na lang na siya sa mga tao na matawag nato ug CORPORATE LEECHES .

Applicable lang cguro na if you want to be COMPETITIVE ENOUGH and you want that advantage over others abraod / overseas . Mao lage nahitabo karon .... mag lugos man gani ug trabaho ang atong mga LICENSED PROFESSIONALS , samot na to mga nag BILLIARD 101 sa USC-TC ug RED HORSE I sa USC-MAIN as an example .

Walay asenso diri sa Pilipinas kung hantod lang ta empleyado .... lami paminaw karon na CALL CENTER ta .... earning 15K to 20K a month kay ulitaw or dalaga pa man . Start buying a hoiuse / automobiles / paying bills / debts etc as a necessity and not out of luxury di ba ulbo ang garapata .

Its not that it sounds insulting but soemtimes maka ingon man sad ta diri sa PILIPINAS ... bahalag naa koy masters sa BILLIARD 101 basta makaon nako ang gusto nako ug makaon sa akong 5 ka anak ang gusto nila being a BUSINESSMAN / WOMAN compared to being an EMPLOYEE that sounds good but doesnt feel good at all .

o.t. its hard to accept but true. it all boils down to economics gihapon. one really could eat 5 times a day even earning minumum wage if you know how to handle your finances. example, why buy a car if you cant barely buy good clothes for your child or pay the mortgages of your house. first things first....needs not wants....

im working in a call center for quite sometime now....eventhough it is considered daku ang sweldo but still for me i still consider it underpaid considering the health risk wer going through. bsag ni enjoy ka sa work but sooner or later stress will caught up with u.. wer not working on regular work shift.. most of us are working at night. i could say lahi kaayo ang tulog sa gabii compare sa day time. so while kaya pa grab it..its true nga daghan ganahan mo work sa call center but usually taas na kaayo kng mo abot ka ug 4 or 5 years sa ana nga company. usually transfer napod ka sa lain to have a new environment then new challenges but still later on mangita jud ka ug work nga less stressfull. its true money is not everything specially if ur working as a call center agent.
