try to search google bro, what XP dirty reinstall means...it's works similar to parallel install, the only difference is ang files sa previous OS are kept and labelled. XXX.dataold...then u have the chance to view and backup ur old files..... dirty reinstall naming convention is actually used in layman's term sa computer world, mga techies would easily know which is which if u will mention dirty & parallel install....

so this is not what you mean because this wont ever keep any previous OS files but rather remove them and reinstall a new one.

yup..mao gitawag cya ug "dirty install" kay it's installing another NFTS partition on the hdd, while keeping the previous (corrupted) NTFS Os in ur attempt to view, backup and save impt files....para ni sa mga peeps nga naay impt files jud....pero d cya recommended to keep.....kanang imong suggestion is the best last resort....pero regarding the issue at hand sa TS, murag naa man kay iedit ani sa System Properties, Startup & Recovery options ani.....
