    Default CMOS Battery replace?

    Hi Fellow Istoryans.

    I need some advice please.

This is the message before startup.

    version (numbers). copyright.....

The current version of Intel ME firmware is (numbers), backup is (numbers)
    (Model of Motherboard) UEFI P1.30
CPU: Intel (R) Core (TM) i5-2500
    Total Memory: 8192MB

USB Devices total: 2 KBDs, 6 MICE, 0 MASS, 2 HUBS

    Detected ATA/ATAPI Devices....
    SATA Port0: SSD Drive model...
    SATA Port1: SSD Drive model...
    SATA Port4: Hardisk model....
    Press F11 for Boot Menu

    Bios Defaults have been loaded
Press F2 or Del to run setup
    Press F1 to continue

Is this a sign of an almost dead CMOS battery? the motherboard is a 5 year old socket 1155.

If that is the case, the solution is as easy as just replacing the CMOS battery right? the battery that looks like a coin.

Bisan unsa lang na CR2032 pwede gamiton no? brand does not matter? I want to buy the best one since barato raman ni cya.

    Thanks daan sa inputs.

it is usually the CR2032 Coin Battery.

for brand, I am not sure as I see them all the same.

it will last you again for another 3 to 5 years for the computer after you replace the CMOS batt ^_^ (kung kalahutay pa ang unit)

Your battery here almost done yes. But usually they can serve like 10 years without any change. Go for the best possible brand like Kodak if you want it really good. I do think it will serve it well for sure. How does that sounds really to you ? Report here
