Medyo dugay2 na since nag apply mi sa PLDT, pero ang among villa gi tauran na ug pldt box kada poste, although wla pay mga nakasulod nga fiber cable sa box. Mayta within this month or the next, matauran najud mi.
Murag bag.o pud nga box gigamit nila since black colored.
Sharing a recent experience of mine. Might be useful to others who encounter this issue.
Yesterday, mag sige ug ka putol ako internet for no apparent reason. Kapila ko mag restart sa ako router, mubalik ang connection pero taod2x mawala na sad. At first, I thought basig ga maintenance sa area. But then the red LOS (loss of service) indicator started blinking sa akong router. My instinct was to go to PLDT AS Fortuna to complain (useless ang 171). But just for the heck of it, basig ma troubleshoot ra ni. So I did.
What I did was akong gibali ang fiber optic patch cable, bale ang end nga nakasaksak sa router akong gi paslak sa terminal (kanang gamay nga 'box' running from the fiber cabinet outside to your house) and ang end nga naas terminal akong gi paslak sa router. Lo and behold, nibalik akong connection. Hasn't been interrupted ever since. It looks like tandugunon ang usa ka tumoy sa cable, from what I figured. I might ask for a replacement from PLDT or palit na lang sa Lazada or Monster Cable sa SM City.
Hopefully makatabang ni sa katong ga LOS sa ilahang router. I'm not saying mao ni ang definite solution, kay disconnections can be due to a number of reasons. Pero this fixed my issue and I'm sharing it for everyone's benefit lang, basin diay pareha ra ta ug issue sa atong connection.

Better you ask PLDT for them to redo their cabling bro, just in case...
Does the Unlimited Fibr has included landline ... ?
