I'll try to answer some of your questions sir.

    a. www.investagrams.com is offering InvestaWatcher sir. You can watch it here https://youtu.be/91dtch0ianw
    b. I do not have an account in Nomura but InvestaWatcher can be used regardless of one's broker.
    c. same answer in a
    d. May I know what really is your plan? Is it investing or trading?

super newbie jud ko so pardon me if will be asking stupid questions. hehe.

so nibasa na ko gamay'ng mga basics and articles about the stock market (investopedia, forbes, quora, etc).
so i gave it a go last week and bought stocks via BDO Nomura.
i bought stocks from 4 different companies.

pero akong problema, i don't want to be that person nga magsige'g check every minute or every hour sa movement sa stock.
i have a full-time job and several other sidelines, so if possible, I want managing my stocks to take as minimal time as possible, as convenient as possible.
my plan was just to check every end of the day, check the stock prices, then make the decision to hold or sell.
pero sa akong nakita, mura'g sayang ang oras if only end of day i will decide to sell considering next day pa siya ma-process.

i started with a Google spreadsheet where I record the stocks that I bought with the corresponding buy price, then set a target price before nako siya i-sell.

    so my questions are:
a.) is there already an existing software (preferably free) that can manage your portfolio where you add the stocks you bought, then alert you (via email, text, etc) if the latest stock price reaches your sell price?
b.) is that feature even available in the BDO Nomura stock platform? i checked and can't find any.
c.) i also did a quick Google search for portfolio management software pero tanan akong nakit-an are too advanced. what I only need is something that will alert me if certain conditions (e.g. target selling price reached) are met.
d.) more importantly, sakto ba ni na akong gihimo? hahaha!

the reason why I am asking is because i am also a software developer (mostly web) so I plan to build a tool that does something like the one I am describing.
plan is to build a tool for personal use but I can share it if possible.

    PS (tech stuff):
I am also looking for API's sa stock market that serves real-time stock market prices.
I've seen this so far https://github.com/edgedalmacio/phisix but not sure if this has request limitations, and if it does show you the real-time data.
do you know of other PSE API that serves real-time data?

thanks bro for the answers. i checked Investagrams and installed the app too and it looks great and i think this is indeed what i need.
pero mura'g naay bayad for email/sms notifications, but this is fine for now.

obviously i am still a newbie, i needed to google the difference between investing and trading. i really thought they are the same. LOL!
so from what 've read, i think i wanted to be both but probably leaning more to the investing side since like i said, i don't have that much time needed to be a full-blown trader.
but i also want to do trading to at least understand how the stock market works.

can somebody be a trader and at the same time an investor?
can i be trader but don't have that much time to dedicate in following the stock market?
for a beginner, how much time should i allocate to be a trader?

as a beginner investor... which companies should i put my money on?
i started with the blue chips.

    Daghan ta'ng newbie ani Boss @WebsaytNimo .

Unlike forex, dili man ta ka-build og EA auto-trading bot for stocks trading diri sa atoa.

Anyway, just in case wala pa ka kasugat ani nga term... i think ang imo gipangita is GTC or Good 'Till Cancelled.
Meaning... you can set a "buy" price or a "sell" price.
So, your order will stand there for 60 days until it's cancelled or executed.

Mao ra ni ako ma-add Boss.

thanks bro for sharing. yep, that was supposedly my entire plan nga mura'g automated unta ang buy/sell ba.
pero mura'g risky sad kay what if nagkabug ang app and it ended up selling or buying everything. haha!

i am fine for now with having an alert or notification everytime a target price is reached.
the Investagram app looks like it is sufficient for the purpose, but I will also continue building my own custom web app as an exercise.

Nag-try ta pod gani mi'g buhat-buhat og amoa Boss.
    Naa na gani ko'y mock-ups.
Ang ending ... wala mi kakaita og realtime nga public API.
Closest will be pseGet, Phisix and PSE's End-Of-Day nga data.

.... so, we settled with Investa's screener and watcher.
    _____________

Ang wala namo na-explore is kanang sa "TradingView" Boss ay.
Kay "powered by Trading View" man ang investa. .. it might not be free though.

Also ... try to explore the "Tsupetot" app.
    Basin naa ka makit-an diha.

    Good luck Boss.

thanks bro. the end of day data definitely won't work, so i am looking at Phisix's API.
not sure how accurate the data from Phisix pero I did a dry run today, but it looks like it is updated by the minute. ang pinakadelay nga ako nakita is 1-3 minutes - but I may be wrong since I am pulling the data every minute and I did not check it the entire time.
pero katong mga oras nga ako gi-check ang data - 1-3 minutes ra jud akong nga nakita nga delay.
so i am sticking with Phisix for now, and use Investa's app at the same time to compare.
i think i can live with the 1-3 minutes delay for now.

i will look into TradingView and Tsupetot.
great suggestions. obvious nga newbie pa jud ko, daghan diay kayong app nga available. hehe!

tnx bro for the suggestion. this is indeed a good idea. but unfortunately, it has been almost 10 years since I created a desktop/windows application. purely web na ko ron, so I am not the best to do the task bar stocks watcher. hehe.

what i have right now, is i have an automated bot that checks every 30 minutes, compares the last trade price against my target sales price (and cutloss price too). it sends me an email every 30 minutes showing the stock data and an output that is either HOLD/SELL.
the email would look something like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/0vfrhIAn7
plan is to have the notifications sent via SMS too, not every 30 mins but only if a sell condition is reached.
so obviously, these aren't real time but this is sufficient for me for now.

as you can see, namuwa akong stocks ever since i bought them last week. waaaah!
and note that there are no computations whatsoever involved for my sell target and cut-loss prices.
    self-study pa lang. hehe.

let me know if you or anybody else are interested to try this out.
