1) consider your power consumption with an desktop pc router.
2) pfsense is not plug n play, you need to configure few things to work.

Im doing a fresh install on pfsense. Its been 3 years since my last setup for pfsense medyu na tay-an na akong knowledge.

Current connection PLDT fiber biz 300mbps plan.
Current version installed pfsense 2.4


wan - re0 - v4/DHCP : 192.168.1.47/24 (dhcp mode)
lan - re1 - v4 : 192.168.2.1/24

both re0 and re1 are up

problem is no internet connection and i can't ping google.com, 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 on the pfsense console.

Kinahanglan jud ni e bridge mode para magka internet ang pfsense?

Make sure sad boss sa wan interface sa reserved networks nka uncheck ang block private networks. Since class c man imo wan ip address.

usually, default install will make it work out of the box with minimal configuration. Re-install again or reset configuration and try again. If pfSense is used as a router (default non-bridge and not controlling the gateway).
