if you can afford to buy original copies which you can update daily, why not use nod32. AVG free gives you the protection u need without paying for it. and it can be updated daily too.

Norton eats lot of memory. not AVG. I think AVG is the best free antivirus. Read from some site early this year.

AVG free + Spybots + Adware gives you complete protection for malwares..
don't forget also registry fixing software since AVG spybots and adware do not correct or heal your registry entries if it was changed by the virus..

and yes, AVG doesn't eat memory, only when scanning. hehe. that's why I set the scan to every early in the morning, because no one uses the computer then.

search it at downloads.com just type registry.. or try registry repair by glarysoft i think..
be sure to download the free software with the highest rating..

AVG free edition is good, but not as good compared to others.

it's always better to buy software such as Norton or McAfee. i did, and i have peace of mind all the time.

AVG is good, pero grabe kaayog false positives! Yet, maglisud or at worst, dili maka detect sa mga polymorphic viruses..

Nod32 is really better and also light on system resources

i've used AVG free version for over a year & had problems just this recently, it keeps getting corrupted even from a fresh reinstall with windows, my friend had the same problem too...

got tired of reinstalling it so i changed to Karsperksy :mrgreen:

wala man da-best gud bro if imong definition sa da best na antivirus is di jud ka malutsan sa virus. tanan man anti virus malusotan. depende ra man na kng unsa ka paspas makaupdate sa detection of recent viruses and antivirus na imong gigamit.

ingon uban NOD32 uban AVG ingon uban NORTON ug lain antivirus kay mao daw naka remove sa virus sa ila computer. pero di na basis sa kng unsay da best. pwede man na ang isa ka virus madetect ni NOD32 then dili mdetect ni AVG pero si virus2 mdetect ni AVG nya dili mdetect ni NOD32...

I suggest to stick to one antivirus which you can update daily. mao jud na pinaka importante ang nay daily updates kay everyday daghan virus na gidevelop so dapat everyday pud na cge update sa virus definitions to detect and repair your comp...

ok na imu AVG bro. basta update lg jud ka. everyday or every other day.. for spyware and adware, try spybots and adaware..
good thing is, free ni sila tulo.
