hi,
Has anyone tried MSI Tomahawk as motherboard for the pfSense? I was wondering if this board is compatible or not. The board has 2 PCI and 2 PCIe slot so multiple NIC is achievable on this.
thanks,happy independence day!

exact model number?
try it on pfSense forums specifically on this area: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?...53n0&board=5.0
kinsa ninyo naka pfSense then na-a sab FibR then naka bridge ang modem to pfSense?
2. regular DSL line ni with PPPoE connection?
3. if Fibr, business or residential?
4. thought nga naka bridge na imo Fibr as you mentioned some post/thread?
5. mugana ang router + onu even thought nga walay PPPoE ang Fibr then gamit PPPoE imo TP-Link?
libog ko samot
if naka bridge man gani na bro to your TP Link and working, ang ako assumption ana kai ila gi allow ang imo Machine ID (mac address plus ambut unsa ID ila kuha-on) of your TP Link, if imo ibalhin ug la-in hardware, dili na mu gana, thus..., as you have said..., manawag nasab ka sa PLDT to request for "re-bridge" for a new router/device.

I have to ask if they locked the PPPoE to a certain hardware. It’s a possibility they have ACLs in place. Thanks for the tip.
