BPI Keeps on increasing my Credit Limit w/o my consent

naa siguro ka lain deliquent nga records not necessarily credit card. Makit an man siguro na nila especially now na naa nay CIC (Credit Information Corporation) nga gi establish. Basta ako bpi wa nakoy gamit2 nag avail ra ko sa ila call for cash one time. I prefer using my Citibank Platinum cc.

wala ko deliquent Sir... Manageable man akong mga utang. Kaya ra mabayaran...

Ubang credit card nako ni apas na sa BPI sa credit limit. Sa una mas gagmay pa credit limit ang ubang cards compared to BPI. Karon HSBC, Metrobank, RCBC mas dako pa og credit limit... ma grant man lage sa credit limit increase sa ubang banks, why not for BPI.

I think good payer ka. So they want you to buy more via credit. My 2 cc limits are 150k ug 90k. Using it to pay all my bills. But paying it one time always.

Di na mo auto close boss. Ila na ipadala sa imo registered address, nya kung walay modawat, didto ibalik na nila sa head office man cguro sa BPI. Kung ganahan ka e close na dapat mo tawag ka sa ila or ikaw mo personal ug adto sa banko.

e try lng tawag unsaon pag dawat, sa ako nga case kay ako man parents mo dawat sa card kay didto man nako gi address sa ila.

Kinsa nka sulay ani nga ang BPI cge lng ug increase sa inyong Credit Limit akoa from 39k to 51k to 66k in one month?

Karon ky dli ko kagamit sa akong Credit Card ky permi decline wla ko kabalo ngano, wla rba ko pinas rn di ko ka istorya nila personally. Plano nko mu tawag sa kadtong ilang hotline nka sulay na mo?

Actually ang ga una ky ning increase akong credit limit on a short amount of time and then after that i cannot use it already.

It's somewhat like related if you suspected your credit card was fraudulently used on an amount greater than what your credit limit is and then your bank tends to increase your CL to be able to purchase what you needed. Or maybe its just a mere coincidence, as an IT guy I maybe paranoid too much..haha

Dugay kaayo mutubag ilang hotline but worth a try, sir. Last time ako gipa-cut ako credit card kay naa fraudulent purchase nuon pero ila man dayun na-resolve. Ask lang na nganong na decline and I think it's best naa ka BPI online account pra ma-monitor nimo imong spendings ug hike sa imong credit limit.]

Thru online ra sad gane ko kabalo gitas-an akong limit ug naa sad fraudulent purchase. Hope this helps

Mann..Im very upset with their 24/7 hotline ga hulat ko ug 20+mins para naay mu tubag wla gyud karon ky wla na koy load sa skype unya ang credit card man to akong gamiton para pang load ..sa email pd ky 5 days pa mu reply..mas maau karon ky ni reply sila sa email nga sila daw mu tawag nko dri abroad..

to my knowledge, this is how banks tempt you to spend more. just accept it with a smile but try to control yourself. coz having a credit card is addicting, i know some people who are so deep in debt in their C.C.s that they take another CC to pay for the credit of their existing CC.


but as for your problem of not being able to use it, call them and tell them of your current location.

but it's funny how a bank such as BPI have some hassles if you use their cards outside of the philippines

An increase in your credit limit is a good thing. Most banks and credit cards do this automatically when they feel you are more credit worthy. This has nothing to do with your card being decline. That probably has more to do with you being in another country and using it where they don't expect you to be trips up their security guidelines. Give them a call and they should be able to sort you out.

I hear BPI have this new mobile confirmation for purchase from you Credit card, but i don't know how would the cater clients on abroad with their Master cards

maau mo diha oie kay mag cge increase ang credit limit ninyo sa BPI... akoa 3 na ka request puro decline... ang ni increase nuon ang installment madness limit...

speaking of BPI, di ko ganahan aning bank. they are so far the worst customer service. dugay kaau ka ma connect sa imong tawag nila. mo lapas pa og 30 minutes para lang ma connect ka sa imong tawag.

I second that motion..ahak ning ilang customer service..while ga hulat butangan man hinoun ug advertisement ang call waiting.

Manubag na sila usually by 8am. Ana ko nga orasa usually manawag. I think within 5 minutes natubag ra ko adto. Naa gane na mutubag maski 6am pero swerte2 lang gyud siguro. Nkabantay ko nga ug ma avail ang option zero (0) mao na kasagaran naa mutubag dayun.
