lakers were actually just after the 1st round pick... currently houston's pick is around 27th... dili ko sure sa washington ug charlotte kung ni-offer ba sila ug 1st round pick. the thought is, if the lakers get their draft, plus this houston pick, they might be able to swap it for a jimmy butler or a paul george type of player.

if we retain our pick,i doubt we would trade it for jimmy butler or pg type of player. i'm down with having that kind of talent but in exchange for our top 3 pick, nah.

hopefully they will trade nick young and the 27th pick from houston for a higher pick. perhaps a 15th to 20th pick...

lakers need to develop their young core first to get major deals... wala man sad pulos kung i-trade nila ang young core for 1 superstar, then they will just be settling for mediocrity.

what the lakers need to do is develop the young players, then entice paul george to come home to LA after next season... when he is a free agent.
