A mix of basilan, parawakan, and pbr. I grow the chickens for meat. But I sell them live. At first hobby farm lang with only 30 Breeders. But now naa nako steady demand, I'm expanding to 100 Breeders on Nov. I collect the eggs, incubate, brooder, then range. At the moment 20 to 30 chicks per week pa lang ma produce. = profitable and you get yourself a supply of native chicken meat and eggs for personal consumption.

I also have 8 sows (anay, pigs) but I dispose the piglets. Ang sobra lang ako gi fattening. = profitable but need close monitoring on expenses and pig health. Injectables are expensive. Piggery is best if you have your own meatshop.

Current trial expansions nako. 2 cows (1 buntis na), goats (dia na ang female, ga reserve nako ug anglo nubian male goat), carabao (I have 1 lang and still looking for a good source for new stock).

Total area size 10 hectares lang. Will expand to the neighboring farm areas when the need comes.
Water source namo is deep well and river.
Electricity source namo kay solar and grid.

Sa plants side. I have corn, atsal, kamatis, lettuce, eggplants all watered with drip irrigation. We also have coconuts, banana, durian, rambutan.

Naa ko silingan na farm doing well with his dragon fruits.

Btw, IT ako background for 20 years. Maayo na lang naay 4G ang globe diri.

paps, I once had a small farm of goats. Then after partnerships with fellow interested parties it went from 6 to 45 heads in a matter of 2 years and a couple of months kay puros ra native/bisaya unya tag 10 dayun gi invest sa mga nakig partner kunuhay coz I was able to lease a 4.7 hec from my in laws.

So far wala pako ni dawat ug partnership.

Sayang nindot na diay unta to imong setup.

Naa sad similar agreement ang BAI with us regarding sa sheep.

Hehe

Ang carabao diri, probably the last one I'll keep. Gamit ni sauna nga wala pa tractor diri. Not sure if mag restock ko.
