Bro, mura ra gud ni sa panahon sa iyang pangumpanya. Magpagawas ug istorya, see how people react. Then do validation and action appropriately.

As I've posted before, veteran's move ni.

We should also consider nga naa ni mga back channeling, their might be background negotiations before he even spoke. Another consideration is Gloria Arroyo , and the Chinese, so there might also be some fact to the matter.

Or he might be trying to get into the good side of the Chinese since they are agitated due to the fact that Philippines-China relation is in the gallows after the Hague decision. No minding the US feelings as of now as he knows, the US is like the big brother of the Philippines for the longest time.

I would likened it to the saying of one US President "Am I not destroying my enemies when I make them my friends?" or the Keep you friends close, your enemies closer.

Again sir, lahi ni run kay dili nalang ni words, dili rani statements. Overt acts nani indicating his motive and intention. Di ko pro-US, but I feel lang jud dako kaayo mawala sa atu.a if magpadayun ni. Duterte is known pud biya to act on his emotions, mao nang kuyaw.

Neo-Socialist or Union of Fascists ---- I don't know if you voted for him, but it's a known fact and his son even mentioned that they "Dutertes" are Left Center right?
Now wherever that may lead, people are always welcome to leave this country, as millions have already, ever since this country begun.

All the more reason for you guys to go to the US, Canada or somewhere else, Also, US is quite lenient when it comes to political asylums.

And by the way, I think you have already heard or read the news that , US and Philippines relations is strong right?
Of course, I've been to several countries already, tho not work related. I dont care where DU30 will bond the PHL with just as long as it isnt China or Russia. If he cut ties with America, might as well cut ties with the whole ASEAN movement. You and I can see that this country will not survive without the aid coming from different powerful western countries and even those aid coming from the rich middle east countries.

Migrating out may be the answer to employees but not to others who thrive in the trade industry and that's one reason why I am choosing the US over the long dead communism. If we are going to close out from the others, what's left will be tremendous chaos. China is not even adapting communism anymore, they are clearly aiming to be an Imperial Nation the same with what Japan did in the past.

Oh, by the way I voted for DU30 in hopes that he can improve the situation INSIDE the politics, not aggravating it. The fight against drugs is, quite obviously, a positive thing but the war against insurgency, corruption and aristocracy is a different story.

PH–US ties will endure | Inquirer Global Nation

Let me say that the Philippines Foreign Minister and its defense ministry have issued statements… affirming the importance of the closeness of the alliance,” said Nina Hachigian, the US ambassador to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean).
We have a wide range of shared concerns and shared interests with the Philippines, and we’ve been able to work effectively together to advance those interests, and Mr. Obama has committed to doing that in the four months remaining,” Hachigian said in a telephonic press conference with journalists.
When asked about President Duterte’s directive that the Philippine military would not conduct any joint maritime patrols with its allies in the South China Sea, Hachigian referred the reporters to the US and Philippine defense departments for “more details about that.”
But she also said “with the new administration, we are currently beginning to have meetings and discuss our shared priorities and programs,” referring to the Duterte administration.
