No need to worry about Mike Rama. Unless the President personally absolves him of the accusation that he is a drug protector (which will never happen), Rama is politically finished. He is old news. Alvin Garcia will never win another election in Cebu either. It is now about who will eventually rise above and emerge asthe new challenger to Tommy Osmeña. Will it be VM Labella? Or will it be some new, young upstart who has not yet surfaced? That is where we are at right now.

You make a fair analysis. But depending on how Osmena would handle the current crisis with the PNP would be the deciding factor is he would still be a force to be reckoned with on the next elections.

For the mean time, I do hope there is solid evidence and convictions now that these public officials have been publicly named.

Thanks. And yes, Tommy Osmeña is still the man to beat at the moment. And I am really hoping that someone new who is much younger, more energetic and filled with new ideas will emerge to challenge him for the next elections. It really is time for new blood in Cebu City.

I am ok with VM Labella. I might support him if he himself will leave Team Rama. Make him as third party who will also challenge both BOPK & Team Rama... But if he will be under Team Rama, I will never be convinced.

Rama played the King but Osmeña is trying to play God. Unsaon gud niya ug ka God, dili gani niya kaya si Bato ug si Digong.
