Warcraft is not a Dota movie. It's about the warcraft lore. So if naka-duwa ka Warcraft gud from the 1st release, kabaw ka sa characters and story. But if through Dota ra imong nahibaw-an, well you need to read the lores to be familiar with it. Layoooooo pa kaayo ang story sa film. Hoping for more Warcraft movies.

DOTA (defense of the ancients) is just a map/mod for warcraft 3 reign of chaos based from Aeon of Strife map of Starcraft

DOTA2 is a standalone steam version built by IceFrog one of the original developer, while Steve (the other developer) work on LoL

its not a copy-cat since both developer had worked on the original DoTA map/mods... however Blizzard did file a copyright complaints against steam when they started working on a stand alone Dota hence they rename it Dota2
