But then aside from billions of loans for the purpose of these projects, some of it went being misused to rather pocketed by "them", not talking about marcos alone but by their cronies also. Large sum of debts during those time we can call illegitimate loans. We were suppose to recover those loans but we didnt due to one thing is corruption and others are external factors worldwide. This is already an OT, I agree..so we can move on to the thread topic. The regime of Marcos during those time were subjective, as the first years was really great until it got sour. Different people can have different views of the past, I'd rather like to have an open mind to his son BBM and give this guy a chance to prove himself. It's not like he is giong to declare martial anytime soon.
I'm on the same page bro.
But I think we had a different choice for VP.
Mine was Cayetano and I suppose you voted for BBM.
I just preferred Cayetano more than BBM for the Duterte Presidency.

i got no problem with that.. for me Cayetano or BBM is a win win situation but now, well i think the plan didnt go smoothly.

I voted for BBM but hoping Cayetano to win also.. i guess majority of people were divided then.

In the spirit of "let's give it a try," I actually voted BBM despite my impression of his dad as a crook and despite how ironic this would look in our course of history (i.e. from Marcos-out to Marcos-in) and despite Imelda Marcos' shadow behind BBM.

But congrats to Leni, even though my second choice would've been Cayetano. As long as she doesn't play the role of a disrupter in the new administration, she would be fine by me. All these talk of cheating is nothing new. We let "Hello Garci" pass by and that was for the presidency. A simple code change to show "ñ" instead of "?" is really not proof of cheating but a violation of change management procedure. Under a strict change management, a request for change must be initiated and signed off by an authorized officer. The programmer makes the change and promotes this version of the program to the test machine. The tester tests it, documents the results, and requests its promotion to the production environment. Only then can the new program overwrite the old one. Why I doubt there's cheating in the VP counting is because that change was made in the transparency server (the unofficial count). If the official canvassing showed a different result, then that code change would be suspicious. As it turns out, the official canvassing agreed with the transparency results. There's cheating perhaps in other forms like vote buying, etc. I just doubt that "ñ" thing was the one. It's just my opinion. I could be wrong though.

Duterte has some strange bedfellows. His close partnership with Cayetano seems at odds with Duterte's "supposedly" favorable view of Marcos; Cayetano was openly hostile to BBM in their debates. I say "supposedly" because during the time he clashed with Trillanes, Duterte lashed out that Trillanes' coup attempt was funded by Imee Marcos. Now why does he have to say that? On top of that, Duterte is a close friend of JoMa Sison, a known leftist Marcos enemy. I find myself scratching my head over these alliances. Perhaps Duterte is just objective enough to separate what he sees as admirable leadership qualities from the typical emotional reactions with regards to the Marcoses.

May we all have a prosperous and peaceful next six years....Yeah right!

And to be honest, I'm not a yellowtard.
However, I don't like the way Marcos run the country when he was still the president.

I think, the problem started during the marcos regime caused by accumulating so much debt which is above the paying capability.
It should have been fine if those funds were all used for public interest.

As i've said, this is already OT as this thread is for BBM and not for his father. Sorry mods...

    Pag mathematics sad ginagmay gud
