one of the major concern of 7-11 and mini stop to open in cebu is that we have a lot of sari-sari stores that are open almost 24/7 and it is very hard to compete in terms of pricing and location. if you have observed in hongkong or bangkok, there are many 7-11 branches because they don't have the sari-sari store concept.

i used to work in mini-stop as a promo & advert assistant. we had a plan of expanding here in cebu, however one of our major concern was the supplier of our food-to-go products and leasing (mahal man kaayo abang sa space).

its good to know that finally 7-11 is here. slurpee yipee!
