He has the best intentions for running, but then again we have to consider the capability and capacity of who is running. The senate is a different story. Personally I'd rather give the seat to someone who has the knowledge about how the senate functions. I'm not saying na he is not capable, but for sure, someone else is even more fit to have his seat. Best thing he can do if he really wants to help is to run for a local position, Mayor maybe. That way, he can really put all his efforts to helping and building his city. Much lesser scope and much doable.

I dont think so.. Being in a senate position isnt easy. He need to take law course. Senates job is to approve and make laws.

This is a fundamental problem with democracy. it assumes majority of people to be a good voter. But in reality, most are not capable of seeing the bigger picture. Making Pacquiao a senator is No different in making him a Airplane Pilot because although Not competitive he has "good and honest qualities".
Would you fly into a plane with Manny Pacquiao as a pilot or would you rathher fly with a bad tempered professional pilot?
