ah i see... you can use Celeron and Pentium on Intel's side and APU on AMD's side... gaan ra man nang work load nmo... then for the system mem, 4GB is minimum but I suggest na pag 8GB kay basin daghan kay i-open na chrome tabs then MS office apps pud then mag update ang Win 8 or 10 kun mao ni ang OS na gamiton nimo... gamay na kaayo'g headroom ang 4GB but still this is enough for your planned application... but in today's rigs, an 8GB system ram is the "sweet spot"...
ako, gamit nko HTPC kay Celeron G530... iGPU ra gamit nko on 1080p resolution...

Ma's better man ug iGPU ang Intel desktop CPUs compared sa mobile variants nila as long as ang gi compare nato kay of the same lineage or families ha. Dili Celeron desktop to a mobile CPU that uses a higher iGPU like the Iris pro or vice versa...
But, ma's nice gyud and iGPU sa AMD APUs if lower Intel CPU ang i-compare nato or even the enthusiast level Intel CPU na dili nice ang iGPU nya. Dili lang ko mo detail ani ha kay taas ni na discussion...
Basta, sa imohang gi sulti na apps, gaan ra man na. Kaya ra na's iGPU sa Intel entry level desktop CPU. Weigh your option and budget on your build. You can never go wrong on both Intel & AMD on a HTPC...

thank you sir try nako canvass ug mga parts
unsa na diay update ani bro? naka palit naka's HW? ang isa diay ka HTPC diri's balay sa Talisay kay Atom D2500HN man diay ni gamit nko. purely, HTPC (home theater PC) ra gyud ang gamit nya... movies and music galore... smooth as silk ra man sya sa akoang mga 1080p resolution na DL'ed movies sa YIFY (YTS)... movie file sizes ranges from 1.8+ GB ~ 2.1+ GB... Running 24/7 pud diay ni sya serving as a torrent DL'er rig.
plano ko'g upgrade ani nya to Celeron G530 and a H61 mini-ITX mobo (the same config sa isa nko ka HTPC) pero, kumbate ra man gyud ang Atom D2500HN... kani lang usa sya for now... i'm very satisfied pa ani nya...
for the video, akoang gi gamitan ug powered (active) DVI/VGA to HDMI converter box para HDMI output to the TV. then, for the audio (from the D2500HN mobo's integrated SC) its feed into a LG 5.1 Home Theater System (DH3130S)...
so far, so good diri's sala...
