IMO, best option sa banks is to apply the excess payment to the principal portion of the loan. as is ang loan term then just terminate the loan if kaya na mo fully pay since if imo i-shorten ang loan term, your monthly amortization will increase, mag lisod na hinuon og apas for advance payment (minimum of 6 months amortization), ny charge for paper works of changing the loan contract and lastly, basi maglisod na hinuon og pay sa new amortization which will be subject to penalty charges in case of late payment.
ask lang sa pg-ibig if naa ba charge if ipa shorten ang loan term.
