Shutter priority ko kun mag panning
Aperture priority 90% (street photography or events)
Mag manual lang ko kun naa ko time para mag set .

the correct one.. LOL! jk.. bitaw oie.. manual is the best settings, use the LCD for instant feedback.. if it's too dark or bright adjust dayon until you get the result you wanted. Ayaw ka hadlok if people mo think cge ka chimping.. ila na nah problema.. basta nindot ang photos.. hahaha!

Daghan man nga settings ang useful bro pero mao ni ang ako ma explain as far as I can remember.

    - ISO, you can set it to automatic but make it at lower range like 100 to 800, pero depende pod ni sa gear.

For events like wedding ingon ani ako experience.
    - Aperture priority gamiton kung naa sa outdoor ang scenes (garden, bride/groom going out from the car, people waiting outside sa church. The reason is that kay naa good light (sunlight) so the shutter speed is always faster like 1/160 or 1/200 or event faster and the advantage is that I can control the depth of field while I am sure walay motion blur bec. usually ang mga subjects like people moves a bit faster during outdoor scenes(naglakaw, nagdali, and etc). But if tanaw nako nga hinay gyud ang shutter speed (for some reason) nga ma blur ang moving subject then I will shift to Shutter priority or gamitan ug exposure compensation and underexpose the subject a little bit as long as dili lang ma blur kay ma recover pa man nako ang underexpose area kay sa blur lisod na pag pa sharp sa area or sa subject nga blurred kau. And iso at 100 or 200.

    - AFC or focus lock tracking kay importante pod ni para dli ma out of focus ang subject.

    - Shutter speed priority kung naa sa indoor like church, assuming nga maximum aperture sa lens is 1.8 or 1.4 so I can adjust the shutter speed accordingly kay anyway, if naa sa church or during holymas less naman kau ang movement sa mga taw or sa subject. But then again I will shift to aperture priority if I will use flash kay ang shutter speed guaranteed naman nga it won't go down below 1/60 so lesser chances of motion blur. Then also increase to higher iso like 800 or 1600 if dili mo gamit ug flash as long as dili pod sobra ka taas ang iso nga daghan na ug noise ang image.

    - Manual, I rarely use this kay medyo malangay pa ug set sa aperture, shutter and iso. But sguro naa uban paspas lang gyud kau mogamit ug manual but for my experience if manual ko mag sige pa ug test sa shots considering ongoing ang event then naa unya scene or part sa event nga nindot unta e capture pero na sipyat or wala naka capture kay nag sige pa change sa settings.

    my 2 cents.

    Re: On photo printing

What printer can you recommend that is ideal for photo printing with cheaper ink cost?
I'm using HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2060 right now.

I'll be using this for my Photo Journalism class' exhibit next month.

You might point out why not try going to a photo store and have it printed hehehe
But I want to try photo printing for experience

    Thanks...

ang challenge nimo ani ron if mag self printing ka ron is calibration.. if ma match ang screen and print

    Big challenge jud bai.

Did different source-printing... I dunno if this is the term.
Anyway, I printed a photo out of a google photo for my lesson,
used its actual size, happy with the result.

However when I printed my own photo taken from my iPhone
then adjusted it to fit half of size A4 photo paper --- nila-in man
    ang result.

    Still learning though hehehe

Cge I'll look it up online sa imo suggestions... Thanks
