I want to report, but not sure how/ to whom. I already contacted SM Cebu and Smart by email, Facebook and Twitter, they just ignore.

I was going to buy about P 6,000 worth and get P 6,000 free, which would cover 1 year of internet. So it's a big loss for me.

Sometimes big corporation let their marketing dept do what ever it takes either by traditional, online or sometimes shady marketing approach... i work in marketing for almost 10+ years and this is quite common.... we call it "DISKARTE" it may look like fraud but technically its in "Gray Area" not illegal, but not legal also... so to call it fraud... by your definition... then let's sue google and facebook ads because they are fraud... and violating our privacy...

normally kani nga mga action... sa rank & file employee rana ug dili sa tindahan/company ang fault... unless siguro naay direct and clear order gikan sa ila upper personel...

before you file a complaint... get the evidence nga naay order gikan sa ila upper personel, then document how things happen and who is the involved party... and describe in what way you became a victim... remember you cant file a complain if you are not a victim... this is a private commercial institution not a public one...

after you have all those proceed to DTI consumer desk and file your complaint there... i have done this before sa globe...

and btw, email and sending message via Social Media will not yield good results, most social media manager, tend to delete negative comments... if you do it... dont send it as a pm post it as a comment sa ilahang post nga daghan nag comment... that should force them to answer the question/complaint...

What Smart and SM do is delete the negative posts on their facebook page.

Anyway I did file a complaint with DTI. Ironically, I was filing a complaint against SM City Cebu information booths, and the DTI consumer welfare center is also in SM City Cebu. Since SM owns the property where the DTI office is, I don't expect DTI to do anything about my complaint.
