but for Video Production/editing, these SWs will be happy to devour all available cores either Physical or Hyperthreading... so, you'll reap the benefits of the i7 and make it as a 16 GB mem as minimum (better would be 32 GB as minimum)... check pud unsa'y HW requirement sa Video Editing SW na imohang planong gamiton... AMD's FX-83xxx CPUs will also be a potent contender on video production/ editing application as well as the desktop Xeons (E3 series)... or if your budget permits, you can choose Intel's Extreme i7 series or its Xeon equivalent, the E5 series... pero, mahal ning mga mananapa man... just focus your options on the desktop class CPUs...
during editing pud diay, maka tabang ang SSD... basta, pa research sa SW and its HW recommendation to maximize your set-up labi na, gamiton nimo ni'g income generating sya on video production... then naa'y Video editing apps na mo utilize ug Nvidia CUDA or AMD Stream... ma tailor nimo ang GPU of choince accordingly...
