Bro, BBM's candidacy for VP is like scratching old wounds, and I have to say my old wound runs deep. You can't blame me for being martial law-probic. That single incident has defined me and my character, it has remained ingrained in memory and can not be erased. Past is past and we have to move on, true, but have we truly learned the lessons of our past? Some here even argued that past horrors of the Marcos regime didn't even exist - and that makes me mad as one having experienced it first-hand.

I just would like to answer you on this kay morag wala jud ni-clear ug tubag nimo ani... BBM and the Marcos family actually feel bad about this (note: injustice)

We have constantly said that if during that time of my father, mayroong mga nasagasaan or mayroong sinasabing hindi natulungan or they were victimized in some way or another, of course we're sorry that that happened. Nobody wants that to have happened. These are instances that have fallen through the cracks...Bongbong on Marcos era: What am I to say sorry for?

BBM (and any person including me naturally) will never apologize for those people who rebelled (ie. traitors) and therefore got hurt. AND if you are a person that already has negative feelings, reading these sentences separately will led you to think BBM did not ask forgiveness, etc. blah.

We could argue about BBM's character and his candidacy for VP in order to stick to the topic, but time and again posters here would refer to FM's regime and the past - and that includes you. If BBM is truly a man of character, then I suggest he better not make continuous reference to his late father's regime or the martial law years every time he make public appearances. A true man of character would stand on his own merit and not credit his being on the deeds or misdeeds of his father - he must fully come to his own. But BBM continually makes references in a like-father-like-son attitude, even during his proclamation statement when he decided to run as VP. This makes you wonder - if BBM continuously denies the horrors of his father deeds, even glorifying and claiming it that it was a necessary evil - how would you define that man's character?

BBM already said FM will be judged by history, unfortunately people always bring all FM's past in every interview, therefore BBM has to answer and correct them for any misinformation. It is the way these news media get contexts that are not flowing to what BBM's intent to say... just like his above statement.

Back to this hoopla regarding his resume (for those haven't read), BBM corrected it -> Bongbong Marcos corrects resumé
IMO, I think it was a mistake but not wrong. It's probably due to universities/schools changes/abolition of courses, etc and this special diploma is probably a special treatment of him due to FM. I don't see anything wrong about that though when PH at that time is known to be first class therefore any Filipino is treated as royal (just like how some of the Filipinos adore other foreign presidents/royals/puti/koreans, etc. now!). It's good someone notice it but like I said (in my previous posts) I will hire anyone even with no education as long as he can do his work.
