Likewise, I respect your opinion also. So let's just agree to disagree. I used to be for Tommy also and I would even admit that he may have been the best mayor Cebu ever had ( emphasis on had, past tense), during his first two terms. But of late, he has shown his true colors and loyalty...and that is to himself and no one else. He has caused his party to block ALL initiatives of the Rama camp that they could block that would benefit the city, if it would make the Rama camp look good or if would enable them to spend some money and earn brownie points from their constituents.

If Osmeña really had the interest of the city at heart, he would support all good initiatives regardless of who proposed it. And he has no regard of who suffers from his brand of politics. He acts as if he is the only smart person in town and only he has good ideas. Yes, he may be smarter than Rama. But he is arrogant in the wrong way and he has a personal agenda. Rama admittedly sometimes makes us wonder if his actions befit that of a city mayor (hahaha), but at least, had the sense to surround himself with good, competent people. In his first term, I too wondered about his appearance of ineptitude and thought him to be stupid. I still don't think he is smarter than Osmeña but he is much smarter that we give him credit for and his heart is in the right place. He also has the better team so he get my vote in the next elections.

I do agree with some of your points especially on Osmena's 'mayabang' side and respect your opinion if that would be of greater value to you. However surrounding yourself with people who have experience does not necessarily reflect a wiser Rama.

But just to share, the driving factor for me why I still lean towards Osmena is his transparency and dedication to continue improving the welfare of the majority. As Filipinos, study shows that we mostly lean to deciding through/with emotions. But to be a Singapore (for example), we need to start using our heads over our hearts.

By the end of the day, actions speaks louder than words and I see more action from Tommy.
