nagcheck ko sa pifa today, mao ni ang association sa mga mutual fund companies sa philippines, mao ni ang figures:

ang pinakadako nga average annual return, sa 5years, sa mga equity funds kay 24.96% (sa PEMI).
if mucheck ka sa site though ang one year return niya is negative.
it is recommended to invest in MF for long term (3-5years). average 3-yr return is 16.24% sa PEMI pud.

di kaayo ko sweto sa mga coop but naa ko nakit-an nga 6% per annum na figures.

Depende raman pod na osa coop, pero pili lang jud og stable na coop like lamac, cfi og aim coop

Bro, how about i try ug invest sa mutual fund? See it for yourself. I've been investing in mutual fund for 5 years and so far so good. Though I have coop sad sa amo own company, I consider it lang nga part sa ako emergency fund...

and Coop is for small time profits?

murag naa ka point coz sa mutual fund walay limit pila imo invest..and coop is limited ug naa maximum shares?
tama ba?

kung pang small time ang coop...how about katong wala pa kaayu dako nga savings
but gusto mag mutual funds...unsa man options?
how much initial savings ug dapat monthly ibutang sa funds?

Well, base from my experience bro, yes, mutual fund can but of course this is depending on the market/economy. Sa coop, you are not buying a share, it's like nga savings program pud. Ma maximize nimo ang return sa coop if kung mu loan ka kay tagaan ka ug patronage fund aside sa dividend. But mao pud lagi, mu loan ka. If loan gani, naa jud nay interest. After all, sa loan man jud maka ginansya ug maayo ang coop. Lisud ang business sa coop if ang mga member nila puro ra mu save, walay mu loan.

To open an account in mutual, usually P5000 ra ang starting amount then P1k ang minimum to top-up(optional ra ni, dili jud mandatory). You can check in this website all mutual funds company here in the Philippines. Investment Company Association of the Philippines
