my take:

they've finally saturated the manila market na maglisud na sila ug determine sa ratings nila. last time I saw a ratings sheet most abs-cbn and gma shows were getting almost the same number of ratings per show. so I guess they had to move their turf war somewhere else...so they make cebu their new stomping ground. hahay ang ka pait, kita gihapon alkanse.had a friend nga nasangit sa motorcade sa mga artista. it took him almost 2 hrs to get home when it would only normally take 30mins

MOVIE FANS. One of the organizers of the protest rally last Labor Day kept looking for two women companions who were to carry the streamer during the march to Colon St. They were to be paid a certain amount, according to an Ear source. The duo could not be found. It was learned later that the two women went to the Cebu City Sports Center to join the fun put up by a television network. When confronted by the organizer, the women said: "Sorry. Panagsa ra ni mahitabo dinhis atua." They were referring to the supershow they had witnessed.

CAMPING OUT. At the Ayala Center grounds many people from as far as Samboan in the south and Bogo in the north camped out from Friday to Sunday spending the night in the open air. They chose the Ayala activities because their favorite movie stars are with the network that held its supershow there. "Naay usa nga gustong moadtos sports center pero gi-threaten di pasakyon sa multicab pauli sa Samboan human sa show," a fan was heard saying.
