You didnt respond to my suggestion. Lets abolish the government then. Its useless. And we are even paying them with our taxes and yet they cant be accountable. We the people are. What kind of set up is that? Please reply.

the government is not the root of the problem. remember when i said "the government is by the people and for the people"?

how would you fix the situation by abolishing the government when you still have the same people around you? the problem is with the people. thus, the change must start from within the people.

who puts up questionable officials? the people...

who complains about the government? the people...

who is to be blamed? the people...

that is how a democracy works!



TAXES

with our total population, how many pay taxes? and if they ever did, how many pay honestly?

if you have been a good filipino, you have the right to whine! but if you have contributed to the rubbish in government, yes including littering, clean your own junk and start from within.

You dont know what you are talking. I am obliged to give you a crash course on governance.

You said democracy. WRONG! What we have is a republican government. Repubican means representative. People elect their leaders to represent. In a way, our government has become the AGENT of the people. I presume you know what agent means. An agent is responsible for his principal. In this case, the government is the agent, the people is the principal. Now if an agent does not properly discharge his functions, what will the principal do?

DISCHARGE THE AGENT. REPLACE HIM, OUST HIM, FIRE HIM. Thats the right of the principal.

If I will go by your convoluted logic, it seems the agent can exonerate himself and worse, put the blame on his principal! Que barbaridad. Nobody is responsible.
