now OnT, balik ta's SSD, para sa akoang gamit diri karon, pang OS ra gyud ni nako. for me, dili pa gyud reasonable ang "Price to Storage capacity" nya for an Apps & Data storage drive. if mag hisgot ug performance, aw, no questions asked gyud ko ani. but, i can wait for the apps to load using a mech HDD or my data to be read / written on a mech HDD.

though, i haven't tried for a SSD "scratch drive" for Adobe Production Suite CS4 (kani ra gihapon gamit nako na apps kay complete man gud ang installer nko diri)... maybe, i'll try one for a scratch drive (perhaps a 128 GB or 256 GB)... barato lang na SSD akoang paliton. naa man daghan mapili-an diri... daginot mode... hehehe...

Hinuon naa kay point. Sorry guys if wa nako gi klaro ako explanation. hehe. Btaw kasagaran maro na kaayo sila bahala nag "hugaw" and item basta the way ibaligya kay "limpyo". hahay mga tao kron panahon. dapat read, read, read gyud.

I think his statement is a nearly safe general assumption bro. Of course, notwithstanding the setups you listed because they are already graphically capable setups, not to mention multi-gpu.

Let me cite an analogy from one of your previous setups.

In the i3-2120 + 7770 xf, where will you lose more frames? (i know you know the answer but ill still write it down for others to read)

    1. If you downgrade to a g840, or

    2. If you take out 1 of the 7770s?

Of course, GENERAL doesnt mean absolute and cannot always be the case. But most of the time it is.

okis bro keropi, let me answer the inquiry on the i3-2120 + HD 7770 XF... playing BF 3, multi-player online @ 1080p...

    1. If you downgrade to a g840
    Ans:
    > yes, more frames are lost if the G840 CPU & HD 7770 XF is used. maka banta'y tag lag labi na, grabeh na ang kumbate... buto diri ug buto2x did2...

    2. If you take out 1 of the 7770s
    Ans:
    > for one HD 7770 on i3-2120, the fps is lower compared to the XF config. i liked the fps result on the XF config and paired it w/ the i3-2120.

    > for one HD 7770 on G840, this pair is just right.

now, the performance of the HD 7770 XF is in the domain of a HD 7950. i have no personal experience if a G530 or G840 is paired w/ a HD 7950 and play BF3 multi-player online on it... wla man ko maka owned ug HD 7950 man pud gud...

    BF3 } COD } HAWX } NFS Hot Pursuit

    > for one HD 7770 on G640, this pair is just right. < this is me before , good enough.

then it became > one HD 7770 on i3 2100, this pair is just more than right.<

then it became > one HD 7770 on i3 3220, this pair is just far more than right.<

one time, i tried to play intel C2D versions on HD7770 with my games for the heck of experiencing it

    e2160 | e2220 | e4400 | e4600 | C2Q6600 | e5300 | e8400
lag kaayo - medyo lag < but dili strutter >

7950 is around the 660ti/ OCed 660 oem performance. Previously paired a g3258 with the 660 oem in my itx. Cpu at stock, maglisud ang g3258. OC the pentium and kaya ra kaayo. OCed the 660oem (i reckon at near 670 levels) maglisud sya gamay. Now paired with an OCed 670 at beyond 770 levels and out of league na sya. I dont know why theres so much buzz about this g3258 and so many praises in the reviews. In my experience, i think it's overrated. Havent tried to OC it to 4.8ghz though.

Now back sa atoang side discussion. I think it's safe to say that For common rigs, you can get the most fps gain from a gpu upgrade more than anything else.

Now what is the criteria for COMMON? Gpu price < 2x cpu price maybe? What do you think?

    OnT/ssd
In my case, i can wait for games/apps to load. But i hate it if magstutter ang in-game cinematics kay nagloading pa. In-game when you enter another map also/exit a door and the like, magfreeze pud kadyot.

I'd agree about the gpu upgrade cause of that phrase the ts said

Dili naman gud ko kontento sa Gaming performance sa ako PC.
Even an SSD with a million read/write speed cannot replace the upgrade in fps going from a GTX 750 to a 750ti.

-> You need to upgrade your GPU, get at least a GTX 960 an upgrade from your GTX 750, Unsa diay resolution sa imong monitor? Unsa ang imong gaming titles?

Will it improve my Gaming performance if mag SSD ko?
-> Based on my experiences, if mag SSD ka - faster OS boot times, faster transfer speed, mas dali mo launch ang apps nimo, etc. .but when it comes to gaming (increasing FPS gain), you can't benefit using SSD. If d ka kontento sa FPS gain sa game na imong gduwa, best solution would be upgrading your GPU!

    * Portable nang SSD? Like externals?
-> It is, if u want to use it as an external, then gamit ka og enclosure.

    * Unsay mas maayo? E-install nako sa SSD ang OS and GAMES? OR sa SSD ang OS pero sa HDD ang mga games? EITHER WAY?
-> Based sa akong setup, mao ni:
SSD 120GB = OS, Basic Apps
HDD 1TB= Installed Games, Files, Installers, etc..

    * Unsay nindot na SSD para sa 5k below na budget?
    -> Samsung Evo 850
