ok rana basin, as long as dili pareha atong Pentium D nga mag idle ug 100watts
gamit rani pfsense or other firewall/traffic shaping OS/Hardware if daghan mag-ilog sa connection at home/office/business.

good scenario if wala gyud filtering kay ang internet cafe nga gagmay lang.
if in serious gaming mode then tanan kay nag dula online games without using 'tube' as background music or any streaming stuff..., smooth ang gayming nila...

pero kung na-a na gani mag 'tube'/stream, mahimog 'giraffe' ang li-og dayon singit! kinsa ga youtube diha!, gubot dayon! ^_^

RAM: 2x 2Gb DDR3 Elpidia SODIMM RAMs
PCI: dual gigabit intel lan card

take note bro:
- a 10/100 LAN card is sufficient enough for the connection facing the modem. you don't need gigabit NICS facing the modem.
- if you will be getting new hardware/mobo, I suggest to get the j1900 series like that I have linked in this post that is dual gigabit already.
- usage of the gigabit nics is only for inter LAN communication!
- minimum of 2 LAN cards are only needed, one for 'in' and one for 'out' unless otherwise you want different subnets/purpose on other machine on your network

to add bro, kita kog mini-itx case sa JOYO marketing, then iya PSU is just 350watts!, nice for ITX mobo's then gamay ra ka-on sab kuryente if imo ipares ato J1900 mobo!

ayaw lang pag focus anang TDP bro. dili na direct metric para sa actual power consumption. but it is used for the CPU's cooling solution though... for low power, get those SOC on mini-ITX or better, get the SOC w/ nano-ITX (kun maka palit ka ani dha) form factor...

pila man ang imohang target power consumption from the wall for your planned pfSense box diay? mas accurate ni kun gamit ta'g power meter. akoa man tong na share diri sa actual reading sa power meter on my Atom D2700 MUD. dili na lang ko naka locate asa to na discussion thread...

kani imo system kay ok raman ni, if pfsense lang ang mag dagan ani kay sige rani idle.

basin gatu-o ka nga kay 600watts imo PSU kay 600watts sab iya ka-on?

kun wala man gali ko masayop, kani imo system kay dili rani ka-abot 50watts total if mag idle, so mga 30~40watt rana siya from the wall

maytag wala pato maguba ako watt meter kay ato unta butangan ug ebedensya ^_^, just like what bro lloyd did with his rigs sa iya mga post! ^_^
